Privacy notice
Last updated · July 2026Minus 78 Dry Ice Blasting ("we") operates from a workshop next to CS Vehicles, Melbourne, South Derbyshire. This notice explains what personal data we collect through www.minus78.co.uk and how we handle it.
What we collect and why
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), vehicle details and anything you write in the message. We use this solely to assess the job, reply to you and prepare your quote. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Job photos. Photos you send us of your vehicle or parts are used only to quote and plan the work. Photos of completed work are only published (e.g. to our Facebook page or website gallery) with your permission.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to our business email via a form-handling service (e.g. Formspree), which processes the submission on our behalf. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become bookings — deleted within 6 months.
- Booked jobs — kept for up to 6 years for business and tax records.
Cookies & analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand visitor numbers and which sections of the site are used. This does not use cookies or collect personal data. Embedded content from third parties (Google Maps, Facebook) may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to our processing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
